The strike led to the creation of the San Francisco State University College of Ethnic Studies. Contains correspondence, memos, minutes, position papers, printed and handwriteen notes, newspaper articles, public statements, and other materials related to the strike.
Harvey Yorke Photograph Collection
The Harvey Yorke Photographic Collection consists of photographs, negatives, and color slides dating from May 1967 to 1972. It includes several images relating to the San Francisco State College strike, 1968-1969, including images of campus rallies and gatherings, police presence on campus, press conferences and meetings, strike activity, Samuel Ichiye (S.I.) Hayakawa, and elected officials. There are also two audio recordings.
